Self Service Government site

the site i choose for self service government is Pittsburgh Neighborhood Tours. The site is colorful and welcoming on the very top and the links are interesting too. After you go below the image it loses the things it had going for it. I like the design on top i wish they followed it all the way down.

non-profit

the non profit organization i choose was the Mario Lemieux Foundation. I really like the layout and design on this website. The only problem was moving around the site and it was hard to find information on it. The look is nice and the logo is great with the hockey gloves and everything. http://www.mariolemieux.org/

Community Conference Sites

The site i picked for community conference site is Beliefnet which is a site that shows inspiring stories that people share. The site is done well i think the home page is not stuffed with information and the page is seperated with clear information. A lot of the pictures capture attention and that has people reading the material. Everything about the site gives an inspirational and heavenly experience.

News Mosaic

The news Mosaic site i decided on was the Pittsburgh Post Gazette's site. The site is cluttered and filled with information. The whole site is plain white and black with out accounting for the ads or pictures. The site is exactly like a news paper and resembles it. I feel for the content and how much it has it does a good job but if you were looking for something specific its challenging to find with all this information unless its a top story. For a news mosaic i think its a decent site but as an overall site i personally do not like it and its complexity.

Bad Website 1/12/10

This is one site i feel sucks and needs to be redone. Its out of date basic and terrible. It looks like the designer did it with microsoft programs.
